Alice Falls Relicensing Information

Overview and Documents

The Alice Falls facility operates under a license issued by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). Alice Falls Hydro, LLC (a subsidiary of Eagle Creek Renewable Energy) is the licensee for the facility. The facility's current license was issued in 1983 and expires in 2023. On September 28, 2018, the licensee submitted to the FERC a Notification of Intent to File License Application (NOI), Request to Use the Traditional Licensing Process (TLP), and Pre-Application Document (PAD) to initiate the relicensing process for the Alice Falls facility. On October 16, 2018, the licensee filed a supplement to the PAD containing updated Exhibits E and F along with the 1983 New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) Water Quality Certificate (WQC) and a correction to the description of the WQC.  Exhibit F is considered Critical Energy Infrastructure Information (CEII) and is not availalble to the public.  The remainder of the supplemental filing is available via the link below:

The licensee will also provide hard copies of the above documents upon request. A reproduction cost fee of $0.25/page will apply to such requests. Please use the link below to download a request form and mail the completed form, along with a check for the reproduction cost fee, to Alice Falls Hydro, LLC, care of Eagle Creek Renewable Energy, to request a hard copy of any document.
