    Eagle Creek Acquires 19 MW of Hydroelectric Generation Through the Purchase of the Worumbo Facility

    MORRISTOWN, NJ. - Eagle Creek Renewable Energy, LLC (“Eagle Creek”) announced today that it has acquired Brown Bear II Hydro Holdings, LLC, which owns the Worumbo Hydroelectric facility.  Worumbo is a 19 megawatt run-of-river hydroelectric generating facility on the Androscoggin River in Lisbon Falls, Maine. The facility supplies nearly 95 million kilowatt-hours of clean, renewable energy in New England each year.

    Eagle Creek Renewable Energy Portfolio Grows with Acquisition of Ten Facilities in Northeast U.S.

    Eagle Creek Renewable Energy, LLC ("Eagle Creek") announced today that it closed on the acquisition of ten facilities in Maine, New York, and Massachusetts in three separate transactions in June, July, and August 2016. The ten facilities total approximately 12 megawatts and produce over 47 million kilowatt-hours of clean renewable electricity in an average year.

    On March 15, 2016, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker proclaimed April 3-9, 2016, as Dam Safety Awareness Week throughout the State of Wisconsin.

    Re-licensing initiated for Great Falls facility

    On February 26, 2016, the City of Paterson, NJ and Great Falls Hydroelectric Company (a subsidiary of Eagle Creek Renewable Energy), current co-licensees for the Great Falls project, filed documents with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to initiate the re-licensing process for Great Falls.     Eagle Creek Acquires 30 MW of Hydroelectric Generation Through the Purchase of Verso Androscoggin Power LLC from Verso Corporation

    MORRISTOWN, NJ. - Eagle Creek Renewable Energy, LLC (“Eagle Creek”) announced today that it has acquired Verso Androscoggin Power LLC (“VAP”) from an affiliate of Verso Corporation (“Verso”). VAP owns and operates approximately 30MW of run of river hydroelectric generation on the Androscoggin River in Maine.
