Discussion as of 07/10/2020:
Eagle Creek is expecting reservoir elevations to rise with scattered thunderstorms predicted over the next 10-days. Toronto’s elevation will be maintained around 1217.0 through the forecasted precipitation events. Rio whitewater recreation releases are underway and Eagle Creek will be maintaining elevations throughout the Mongaup river system to support these scheduled releases. The Mongaup river system is one of New York's finest, inertia driven clean energy resources; that provides reliable grid support when other generators can't. Eagle Creek will provide grid support when required, but always as environmental stewards. Drought conditions are highly uncertain for the remainder of the Summer and Eagle Creek supports the Delaware River Basin by storing water for conservation purposes during severe drought conditions. This is a sensitive time of year for the Mongaup river system and we appreciate the public's patience as we maintain compliance with project license requirements.
