To safely perform dam maintenance at the Anson Hydroelectric Project (FERC P-2365), Eagle Creek Madison Hydro (ECMH) will perform a drawdown of the headpond during the week of July 22, 2024. The impoundment formed by Anson Project needs to be lowered six feet less than normal pond elevation of 248.15 ft to safely perform this activity. The pond will be lowered slowly over a period of 24 to 48 hours. The in-water work will take one day and the pond will be refilled as quickly as possible. The modification of the normal pond elevation is expected to be completed in 4 to 5 days. Please note that the river elevation may fluctuate due to precipitation or events outside the control of ECMH. Boaters should always use caution upstream of Anson Dam.
