Eagle Creek Renewable Energy has acquired the Little Quinnesec Hydro Station in Niagara, Wisconsin.  Little Quinnesec is a 9,100-kilowatt facility on the Menominee River, about 85 miles upstream of Eagle Creek's Park Mill and Menominee facilities.

Little Quinnesec was built between 1900 and 1916 to provide mechanical and electrical power to the Kimberly-Clark paper mill at the same location.  The mill is now closed, and the hydro station provides about 59 million kilowatt-hours of clean, renewable energy annually to the regional transmission grid.
