On October 28, 2020, the Millville Hydroelectric Project (FERC No. 2343) dam, located on the Shenandoah River near Harpers Ferry, West Virginia just upstream of the confluence with the Potomac River, will be temporarily dewatered to collect concrete core samples.  This will disrupt the minimum flow of 200 cubic feet per second (cfs) to the Millville Project bypassed reach starting at about 8:30 a.m. on October 28.  The sample collection will take up to 6 to 7 hours, and water would begin flowing over the Millville Dam about an hour after the work was completed.
